Dr. Pauline Leong
Associate Professor at the Department of Communication, School of Arts, Sunway University Malaysia
Dr Pauline Leong is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication, School of Arts, Sunway University. She received her Ph.D. in Political Communication from Monash University and her Master’s in Mass Communication from Nanyang Technological University. Dr Leong is also the author of Malaysian Politics in the New Media Age: Implications on the Political Communication Process, a book published by Springer.

Qyira is the Co-Founder and Education Director of #Undi18, a Malaysian grassroots movement that successfully lobbied the Government and Parliament of Malaysia to take steps toward reducing the minimum voting age in Malaysia to 18 years old. She is also the Special Adviser on Youth to EU Commissioner, Jutta Urpilainen.
